I love the web site! I miss racing there. My last
race there was a month before you closed. I
broke my Mustang there but still pulled 11.65
in the quarter. Take care!

I felt privileged to have been part of history at Carlsbad. It's gone but never forgotten.   -- Woody

Their History

I first visited Carlsbad after we moved to Oceanside in 1965. I got my picture taken in
Garlits front engine cars when I was 12. I raced Motocross there with the CMC in the
early to mid 70s, then drag raced some before moving east.

It is hard to express what Carlsbad meant to me. I think that I would have turned out to
be a lot less of a man without it. I saw all my heroes there. Don Prudhome, Garlits, Wild
Willie, Chi-town Hustler, etc....thanks for the memories.  ---Don H.

One more special thanks to
everyone who so
generously helped Glen &
Hunny with her vet bill back
in Feb. 2004.  Thought we'd
give you this video I took at

everyone their donations
went to a good cause.
She's becoming an old lady
as you can see by all the
gray hair on each side of
her mouth.  But yes, she still
loves to "get the
trespassers."
