drove around some local neighborhoods to get pictures of manger
scenes.
What we found amazed us. Many of the manger scenes held only an
empty space where the baby Jesus should be.
While pondering this dilemma, it became clear. We have a thief in the
neighborhood. He's not the Grinch trying to eliminate Christmas, he
only wants to eliminate Jesus from Christmas.
He's not alone. Stealing Christ from Christmas has been a full-time
job for many this year.
Does it matter?
Yes. Because Jesus really is the Reason for the Season.
We hope our empty manger reminds you once more what all the
celebrating is about.
